A graduate of the Hanoi School of Fine Arts, this creator and teacher, the holder of many first prizes, has also shown his talent in animated films and theatre sets. Since arriving in France, Hoa Vu, with superb technical mastery, has joined the ancient art of lacquer to a non-figurative expression of great creative freedom. Original colours, captured light and depth give strength and mystery to his works.
